$50 per person.  All Firing materials will be provided.

Description

Come and explore saggar firing.  Using soluble salts and combustibles, create unique and varied surfaces for your projects.  Saggars, materials and equipment will be provided.

What to bring

Each student is asked to bring to the workshop 4 bisque fired items.  For smooth surface items, it would be best if the item is either burnished, or prepared with terra sigilatta. 

For textured surfaces and sculptural work, the items can be burnished or left without any further treatments.  Best results can be obtained using light or white bodied clays.   Please let me know if you need any further information to prepare your work.  I will be happy to answer your questions.
